Eva Mendes is an American model and actor. Eva Mendes was first discovered by a talent agency that noticed her potential. They convinced her she should pursue a job in the entertainment industry. After much consideration the decision was made to leave the university to enter the realm of entertainment. Her debut was in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, but she wasn't thrilled about how it came out. In order to perfect her acting skills, she trained extremely hard and was featured in a variety of low budget films to show her talent. The perseverance and determination resulted in a successful outcome. She received recognition fame and favorable reviews for her role in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off. Her most well-known films include the movies 2 Fast 2 Fast and Furious Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans Holy Motors and 2 Fast 2 Fast and Furious.
